Community Forum Policy

These Maven Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) provide important information about your use of the Maven User Portfolios and Maven User Community Forums, including discussion boards and direct chat (collectively, the “User Communities”). If we use capitalized terms in these guidelines that aren’t defined in these guidelines, they will have the meaning set forth in the Terms.
PLEASE READ THESE GUIDELINES CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING THE USER COMMUNITIES. BY USING THE USER COMMUNITIES, YOU AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE GUIDELINES AND OUR TERMS OF SERVICE (THE “TERMS”).
CLASS ACTION WAIVER
EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE DESCRIBED IN THE DISPUTES SECTION OF THE TERMS, BY USING THE USER COMMUNITIES YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND US WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING, INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION AND YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. PLEASE REVIEW THE DISPUTES SECTION CAREFULLY; BY USING THE USER COMMUNITIES, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL OF THESE TERMS.

COMPLIANCE WITH THE TERMS
Your use of the User Communities and your submission of User Content must comply with all terms and conditions of the Terms, including the obligations regarding User Content and the Restrictions on Use described in the Terms. Do not impersonate others, and do not create accounts or use the User Communities for the purpose of misleading others.
COMPLIANCE WITH LAW
Your use of the User Communities and your submission of User Content must comply with all applicable federal, state, local and international laws and regulations. Please post only User Content that you have the right to post. Do not post any User Content that contains someone else’s information or data, or that was copied from the internet or other sources unless you have the right to do so. Do not post any User Content that contains someone else’s personal information. Please note that we may work with law enforcement, such as when we believe that there may be a risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.
PUBLIC NATURE OF THE USER COMMUNITIES
Some User Communities are available to all Maven Users. Some User Communities are available to the public. Any User Content you post will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. Other users will be able to see your User Contributions. Do not post any User Content that contains your confidential information that you do not want made available to other people. Do not post any User Content that contains the confidential information of anyone else, including your employer or former employer.
RESPECTING OTHER USERS
If you choose to post a User Contribution, please make sure that the post is on-topic. Please be polite and respectful to other Users, and post only constructive questions and comments. You understand that you, and not Maven, are responsible for any User Content you post. You acknowledge that User Content posted by other Users are the sole responsibility of the person who posted the User Content. We are not responsible for, and we do not endorse, the opinions, advice, suggestions or recommendations posted by users in any User Community and we have no liability in connection with any User Contributions.
ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS ON USE
In addition to the obligations set forth in the Terms, including without limitation, those obligations regarding User Content and the Restrictions on Use, do not use the User Communities in a manner that, or post User Content that: a) Disrupts the User Communities or the software used to provide the User Communities; b) Discriminates based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; c) Distributes viruses, worms, Trojan horses, corrupted files, hoaxes, or other malicious software code; d) Includes or references descriptions of processes or tools that break or otherwise work around the intended use of any software product, or would be in violation of the product’s license agreement; e) Contains or references any material which is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable; f) Contains or references sexually explicit or pornographic material; g) Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any other person, or exposes trade secrets or other confidential information of others; h) Collects or tracks the personal information of others or uses any data mining, data gathering, or extraction method; i) Uses any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access the User Communities; j) Generates or facilitates unsolicited bulk or commercial email in violation of the CAN- SPAM Act or any other laws and regulations applicable to bulk or commercial email, including but not limited to sending any communications to persons who indicate that they do not wish to receive them; k) Violates the legal rights (including the rights of publicity and privacy) of others; l) Contains any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable laws or regulations; m) Is fraudulent, knowingly false, or likely to deceive any person; n) Promotes any illegal activity or assist with any unlawful act; o) Impersonates any person or misrepresents your identity or affiliation with any person or organization; p) Advertises, sells or markets products or services, or promote contests, sweepstakes and other sales promotions; q) Gives the impression that You or your User Content are endorsed by Maven.
VIOLATION OF THESE GUIDELINES
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the User Communities (and the Services themselves) if we determine you are in violation of these Guidelines or our Terms. We have the right to edit, modify, remove or refuse to post any User Content for any or no reason in our sole discretion.
While we reserve the right to monitor User Content, we have no obligation to do so, so please do not assume that we do. We cannot and do not undertake to review all User Content before or after they are posted in User Communities and cannot ensure prompt removal of objectionable material after it has been posted. Accordingly, we assume no liability for any action or inaction regarding transmissions, communications or content provided by any user or third party.
If you see something that you think may violate these Guidelines or our Terms, we encourage you to report the violation to admin@mavenanalytics.io. Even if you are not a Maven User, you can still notify us of any violation of which you become aware. Please provide as much detail as possible so that we may review the violation and remove the User Content quickly.
PRIVACY
Your use of the User Communities, and the use of any information collected by us through your use of the User Communities (including, without limitation, any User Content) is subject to the Maven privacy policy, which is incorporated as part of the Terms. Your use of the User Communities signifies your acceptance of the privacy policy.
MODIFICATION TO THESE GUIDELINES AND THE USER COMMUNITIES
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to update, modify, change or replace any portion of these Guidelines at any time. If we make changes, such changes will be posted on the Site and indicated by the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page. Any such changes are effective and binding the next business day. Any changes to these Guidelines apply to all access to and use of the User Communities thereafter, and your continued use of the User Communities constitutes your acceptance of the revised Guidelines. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to update, modify, change or replace any portion of User Communities at any time, or to stop offering the User Communities completely.
DIGITAL MILLENNIUM COPYRIGHT ACT
We respect intellectual property rights. If you are a copyright owner or exclusive copyright holder, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that any material available in the User Communities infringes upon your copyrights, please submit a notification of the alleged copyright infringement to the contact provided below in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") by providing all the following information: (1) the full legal name and a physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner/exclusive licensor; (2) identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by this the notification, a representative list of the copyrighted works; (3) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing (or to be the subject of infringing activity) and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (including URL(s) if possible); (4) your name, address, telephone number, email address, and/or any other information reasonably sufficient to allow us to contact you. Your notification must also include statements regarding the following: (A) You have good faith believe that use of the material in the manner described in this notification is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and (B) the information contained in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. You acknowledge that if you fail to comply with all the requirements above, your DMCA notice may not be valid. Please see 17 U.S.C. § 512 for more information regarding the DMCA and DMCA notifications. We also recommend that you consider consulting legal counsel.
