AI is a game-changer for data analysts. Tools like Claude, Copilot and ChatGPT can write code, summarize data, and design reports in seconds. But can you trust the output enough to bet your career on it?
This path helps you build the skills you need to work confidently with AI, by knowing how to think critically, ask the right questions, automate the manual work, and validate results.
We’ll start with the foundations that every analyst needs: business acumen, measurement planning, and a clear workflow for turning data into decisions.
From there we’ll start building practical AI skills. You’ll learn how tools like Claude and ChatGPT actually work, how to go beyond basic chat to unlock more powerful workflows, and how to use prompting frameworks like BRIDGE to get consistent, reliable results.
Next, you’ll learn how to think critically and use time-tested methods to question confident answers, spot hallucinations, and fix them before they reach a stakeholder, while sharpening the human skills that AI can’t replace: problem framing, judgment, and persuasion.
We’ll also put AI to work in the tools you use every day. You’ll learn how to leverage Copilot in Excel, use AI to write and debug complex SQL queries, and practice applying your skills to real-world projects, like analyzing hospital records and exploring seasonal traffic patterns in NYC.
Finally, you’ll turn analysis into action with Storytelling for Business Presentations, where you’ll learn how to craft and deliver narratives that inspire your audience and help decisions get made.
